Amber Floyd and Jimmy Bradshaw volunteer legal services to Nashville community

August 12, 2016

Amber Floyd, Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Service Team, and Jimmy Bradshaw, Partner in Charge of the Nashville office, recently volunteered their time and legal services at an expungement clinic held in Davidson County at New Covenant Christian Church.  Ms. Floyd and Mr. Bradshaw, along with Davidson County General Sessions Judge Rachel Bell and several other volunteer attorneys, helped over 300 people with non-conviction expungements, court cost waivers and driver's license issues.

Ms. Floyd, who serves as the volunteer coordinator for the Music City Community Court, said, "Past mistakes should not define and limit a person's entire life...However, a criminal record can do exactly that.  It can make it very difficult to obtain housing, employment, and a host of other opportunities for advancement."
